Adam is the director of international business development at Natel Energy, a low-impact hydropower startup in Alameda, California. In the past, he has worked as a teacher in Switzerland, a water resource infrastructure geologist in Northern California, and for the Energy Foundation in San Francisco on federal climate change and energy security policy. He is passionate about working to mitigate the influences and effects of climate change, enjoying the outdoors on skis and on foot, and experiencing new places and cultures around the world. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management, a Masters in Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern, and a BA magna cum laude in geology and Spanish from Colby College. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a Truman Security Fellow, and a StartingBloc fellow.
