Anton Gennadyevich Yanchilin is an Applied Physics/Energy Science senior in the Energy Technology Program at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He is the Co-Founder and President of the Energy Club there and on the Board of Directors for a local 501(c)(3) non-profit oriented around solar energy education and outreach, "Nebraskans for Solar." He takes part in various planning and volunteer activities in and out of Omaha. Previously, he was a Department of Homeland Security STEM Intern on a multi-disciplinary, world renowned research team in the project "Arctic Shield 2014" in the Beaufort Sea pursuing various research projects and team management. Recently, Anton was a NASA Intern at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory working on programming for a very unique and complicated solar array as part of NASA's Solar Probe Plus mission. Passionate for human-associated climate change mitigation and innovation in the renewable energy industry, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and programming in his spare time.
