Brentan Alexander is a technologist and electrochemist with an interest in all things energy, Brentan is the Co-founder of EnergyFolks, where he leads technical development of the EnergyFolks platform. Brentan works to understand and empower the connections between technology, policy, and finance in the energy industry in order to better the energy production processes of the world. Throughout the last ten years, Brentan has been involved in the student energy movement, first as a member of the MIT Energy Club, and later as Co-founder and President of the Stanford Energy Club. He strives to provide the next generation of energy leaders with the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals. Brentan received his Ph.D. from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Stanford University, and holds bachelors and masters degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He now runs a private engineering consultancy servicing clients in the clean energy sector, and lives with his wife in Oakland, California.
