Cody is a senior at Northwestern University studying Economics and
Environmental Policy & Culture. This past summer working for Pacific
Gas & Electric in San Francisco, he analyzed widening natural gas price
spreads throughout the Western region of the United States. In
addition, he presented research on interconnection requirements for
large asynchronous generators in the CAISO territory.
Cody also spent a summer with the U.S. Green Building Council in Washington D.C., where he tackled challenging energy policy issues at the federal level. Specifically, he tracked the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act as well as other hot topics such as on-bill financing, demand-response, SmartGrid infrastructure, and more.
After graduating in December 2014, Cody is looking forward to navigating a career path in the energy industry where he will continue to address the challenges of reliably and affordably integrating clean energy into our nation's portfolio.
