Fernando Fuentes

Picture
Fernando is currently a senior at Penn State University double 
majoring in Energy Engineering and Energy Business & Finance. His 
hometown is Monterrey, Mexico, which is the nation’s industrial capital 
and 3rd largest city. His passion for renewable energy and energy 
eficiency led him to energy-focused majors at Penn State back in 
2011. Fernando is currently the president of the Society of Energy 
Engineers at Penn State. Additionally, he is a candidate to dance 46 
hours straight representing his fraternity Alpha Tau Omega in THON 
2015, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. Fernando’s 
hobbies and interests include trading, business news, reading, soccer, 
and boxing.
