Navid Tafaghodi Khajavi
Navid is a PhD candidate of electrical engineering at University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is also a member of smart campus energy lab (SCEL) based at University of Hawaii at Manoa. Previously, He was research assistant at renewable energy and island sustainability (REIS) program for two years. During his PhD, he has worked on the applications of statistical and mathematical tools such as graphical models, machine learning, information theory and statistical signal processing to solve real world problems such as smart grid estimation, clean energy, spatial-temporal solar irradiation forecasting, modeling, and Big data.
